Walk-a-thon 2025

On October 9th - The Cavell Community will participate in our Fourth Annual Walkathon. This year, all monies raised will go toward the purchase of replacement Laptops and iPads that are greatly needed for student use in the classrooms. 

The theme this year is CAVELL CARES.  To get in the spirit, we are encouraging students to dress in Cavell wear red & white. 

Students complete as many laps as they can walking or running around Douglas Park in the allotted time.

We need Parent Volunteers to help keep the students safe and to cheer them on! Please follow the link to Sign-Up Genius if you can help in the afternoon on the day of the walk.

For each pledge collected, your child’s name will be entered into a draw for prizes. The more pledges - the more chances to win gift cards - for businesses on Cambie, and the Book Fair. Please feel free to share the donation link with friends and family.

Donating is a 2 step process:

1) Fill out Cavell Walkathon Donation Form - click SUBMIT. 
2) Click the link at the bottom of the form to donate through the VSB School Cash Online website. Scroll to Edith Cavell Elementary PAC and add Walkathon in the message. Click here to view a screenshot of the donation page.
