Tuesday and Thursday Hot Lunch
Foodie Kids delivers hot lunch on Tuesdays and Thursdays every week.
Choose from 18 "always available" main menu items each day, plus various sides, desserts, and drinks. Rotating themed menus include pasta day, kebab day, Mexican day, and Asian day. Gluten-free and vegetarian items are available. See below for menu details.
Order cut-off is every Wednesday for the following week's lunches. For example, order by 11:59pm Wednesday January 31 for lunches on February 6 & 8. The PAC pays the vendor based on that Wednesday order, so unfortunately no changes or cancellations can be made after the deadline. Additionally, once an order has been made, we cannot cancel that order, we can only move the order to a different day. See our FAQs below for more details as well as some photos of the food.
About the food:
All items are nut free.
Small portions are typically around 8oz.
Large portions are typically around 12oz.
Condiments are individually packaged and served on the side.

What to pack from home:
As always, cutlery is not provided. Please ensure your child brings cutlery to school on lunch days and consider having a few back-ups in their bag.
If your child wants any additional toppings or condiments, please pack these from home.
How to order:
We are charged a payment processing fee of $0.30 + 2.9% of every transaction that goes through our website. We have implemented a flat fee of $1 on all transactions to cover part of this cost. Please try to order multiple items together to reduce the overall transaction costs. You can order multiple items for one student and siblings all together by continuing to add items to your cart before checking out.

Hot Lunch FAQ
What happens if I’ve ordered lunch and my child cannot attend school due to illness or some other unforeseen reason?
For last minute cancellations, no refunds are available since the food has already been purchased and prepared. We encourage you to come to the school to pick up your child’s lunch if possible.
What happens if I’ve ordered lunch weeks in advance and then a field trip is planned or I need to make a change for some reason?
Normally field trips are planned several weeks in advance. If the order deadline has not passed, it is possible to change your order to a different day by contacting srohloff@gmail.com with your original order date, child’s name, and new order date. Unfortunately, with the Square payment system we use, it is not possible to change to a different menu item or refund an order.
Are the Hot Lunch Programs a Fundraiser for the PAC?
Yes, all our hot lunch programs generate much-needed funds that the PAC relies on annually to help support many types of programs, purchases and needs the school, staff and students all benefit from.
It’s important to know that these programs are completely optional and are offered as a service to the parent community while contributing to our fundraising goals. We are grateful to the many families that have supported and continue to support these programs. Approximately $1 from each meal and 50c from each side/drink goes directly to PAC fundraising initiatives.
Is the food packaging environmentally responsible?
Most packaging that is used is compostable or recyclable. Lunches are also delivered to our school in reusable thermal bags separated by hot and cold and division. Another way we are reducing waste is by having students bring their own cutlery.
What items are dairy free or gluten free?
The burgers, sliders, chicken burgers, veggie dog and hot dog, sushi, kebabs, and the Asian day items are all dairy free. Other items may also be dairy free. Please inquire to confirm. The wraps and pastas can be gluten free with gluten free pasta and wraps. In addition, the sushi is gluten free if not using the soy sauce. Cross contamination is not guaranteed. Please inquire to confirm.
