Is there an admission fee, and what do I use Carnival Tickets for?
A | Admission to the carnival is completely free! Carnival Tickets are used exclusively for school-run booths (games, drinks, and snacks like popcorn or cotton candy). External food and market vendors do not accept tickets; they manage their own cash/card payments and support our school by paying a vendor hosting fee.

How do the games and prizes work?
A | You pay to play games using your Carnival Tickets. When you play, you will win Prize Tickets based on your performance. You can then take those prize tickets over to the designated Prize Booth to redeem them for fun rewards!

Can I refund unused Carnival Tickets?
A | No, all ticket sales are final. Unused tickets cannot be refunded, but they can be donated back to the school at the end of the event.

What's the difference in Carnival Tickets & Prize Tickets?
A | Carnival tickets are purchased either ahead of the event or during Carnival. Carnival Tickets are need for select activities and games. Participants will receive Prize Tickets which can be redeemed for prizes. Visit our Carnival Site Plan page for details on which activities are ticketed.

What food options are available, and do they take Carnival Tickets?
A | We have three amazing external food vendors onsite: Tube Steaks, Rain or Shine, and Shave Ice. Vendors DO NOT ACCEPT CARNIVAL TICKETS.
Carnival Tickets are needed for Cotton Candy, Popcorn, and the Candy Corner which are operated by the Cavell PAC.
Please note: Food vendors are not ticket items. They operate independently, manage their own payment processing systems, and will accept either cash or card directly.

Can I become a Vendor?
A | All of the Cavell Carnival vendor spaces have been filled. Please visit our Vendor Information page for details on pricing.

Are there any free activities at the carnival?
A | Yes! We have a whole group of free activities available for everyone to enjoy throughout the grounds without needing any tickets. Visit our Carnival Site Plan for lists of Free Activities.

Do I need a ticket to watch the performances?
A | No! All live entertainment and performances taking place in the gym are completely free to attend for all guests.

What happens if it rains?
A | The carnival is a rain-or-shine event! In the case of inclement weather, outdoor games and activities will be moved inside to the classrooms, hallways, and gym.

Is parking available onsite?
A | No. The main parking lot of the school is for staff only and will be closed off during the carnival. We highly encourage families to walk, bike, carpool, or use public transit where possible to reduce congestion.

Who can I contact if I lose an item or need first aid?
A | Please visit the main Information & Ticket Booth. First aid supplies and our Lost & Found station will be located there.
